Oh, Sweet Pea

So today, we got to see our little bean. Now known as 'Sweet Pea' due to the tiny size of our bean :)

There's only one little sweet pea in there, but we got to see the flick, flick, flicker of the heartbeat, although we couldn't hear anything - yet. They took vials of blood and made me do pee in a cup and then we were booked in for March 1st for our next ultrasound and sent on our way.

It was such a huge relief to see our little Sweet Pea on the screen - it made it even more real for us. DH was in awe, but later said he couldn't believe how small Sweet Pea is.

I told my Dr how bad the heartburn is getting, so she told me to stop using Gaviscon and she prescribed me some tablets. They've helped today, so hopefully they'll continue to help.

Morning sickness keeps coming up - I continue to feel super queasy every morning, but hubby has got me lots of ginger ale, which is helping a ridiculous amount. Yay for ginger ale!
